A Parade of Mahjong

Inspired by the Chinese family game, Mahjong, people in the parade are assigned to different re-designed tiles. When tiles from the same group of patterns are matched, you get points. The project uses the mahjong game mechanism to introduce a visual interpretation of the social interactions and foster connections between community-based cultures.

The parade celebrates the idea of interconnections embedded in Chinese culture through an interactive game that amplifies visual communications between families, friends and the crowds.
